Service was great
I received excellent service, but had to wait a few weeks for it to be completed which is why I am giving it a four-star rating. Despite the wait, everything else went smoothly and I was satisfied with the overall experience.
Poor servicing
I recently decided to send my beloved vintage titanium diving watch to Citizen Watch UK for a much-needed service. The cost of £75 seemed fair and reasonable to me. Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned sour as weeks went by with no word or updates on the status of my watch. Finally, after persistent chasing, I received the disappointing news that they had accidentally caused significant damage to the watch caseback while trying to open it. Quite astonishing that this could websitelinkblocked watch was over 10 years old and a favourite watch of mine, now it’s scarred forever. They did offer me a replacement watch in compensation, which I accepted, but wanted to warn other watch owners to think twice before using the Citizen UK service centre.
I have just had my watch 10 year old…
I recently received my 10-year-old watch back from the Citizen Service Centre, and I am thrilled that it is now in working condition again. My jeweller had suggested sending it in after a new capacitor installation had not been successful. I reached out to them through email, and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I sent it off 24/9/2023.I knew they had received it because of the tracking.I received an estimate of £75.00 a couple of days later, which I thought was very reasonable so paid. I did get a little concerned when I hadn’t heard anything after a couple of weeks and there was no update on my websitelinkblocked, I emailed them and was told to expect it to take approximately 20 days. It is here, working, looking great. I’m very pleased and would definitely use them again in the future if needed.
One fatal flaw...
I recently purchased a watch that initially appeared to be of good quality and had a nice design. However, I quickly discovered a major issue - the bracelet was excessively large and there was no apparent way to adjust it. To make matters worse, there were no instructions provided with the watch or on the company's website on how to make adjustments. Surprisingly, the company openly admits on their website that they have intentionally chosen not to provide information on how to adjust the bracelet. This lack of customer support is disappointing and makes it difficult for owners to enjoy wearing their watches comfortably. You are supposed to take the thing to a jeweler or dealer just to get the strap adjusted! Oh, and another thing is that they charge you for doing something like this... This seems to me to be an utterly ludicrous waste of time and money so I sent it back for a refund (which they've not done yet, by the way).
Mistakenly contacted Citizen in USA re…
I reached out to Citizen in the USA by mistake regarding extra links for my expensive watch, and I was pleasantly surprised when Citizen UK responded to my query. They promptly sent me the required links for my watch, which I found to be excellent service. It was truly unexpected and I was impressed by their swift response and helpfulness. Don’t understand reviews. All Citizen watches I have purchased have been accurate and have lasted till now. One of my favourite brands and I collect watches including Omega Tudor and other high end makes. Couldn’t be happier with Citizen
Can Citizen service a watch correctly?
After many years of reliable use, I sent my Citizen Red Arrows watch back to Citizen for servicing. Unfortunately, upon its return, the watch seemed to have lost its faithfulness. It began behaving strangely, with the spindle coming loose and causing the watch to stop working. There were also instances where the city the time was linked to would change unexpectedly. It was as if my once dependable watch had transformed into a frustrating and unpredictable monster. The jewellers very kindly sent the watch back to Citizen but all they do is come back and say there's nothing wrong, when clearly there websitelinkblocked advice, dont send a watch back to Citizen for a service, you'll save hundreds of pounds and not end up with a product fit only for a bin.
Sent my citizen watch back for winding…
I recently sent my Citizen watch back for repair because the winding stem had broken off. I was disappointed as I had only owned the watch for 18 months. Upon contacting them via email, I was informed that the repair would be covered under warranty. However, I was surprised to receive an estimate of £68 instead. I refused the estimate and decided to return the watch. The whole experience left me feeling disheartened and I have decided that I will not be purchasing another Citizen watch in the future.

Sent my watch to someone else
I accidentally sent my watch to the wrong person, so I had to make a 20-mile journey to retrieve it. Terrible company avoid
Very bad experience
I've been extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. The strap on my watch has unexpectedly come off, so I sent it in for repair, relying on the 5-year guarantee they had promised. However, they are now refusing to honor the guarantee and repair my watch. I have written to them to complain about this however i have had no response and they still haven't returned my websitelinkblocked are not the actions of a high end watch manufacturer.I cannot recommend this company or their products or services
Some of the numbers have fallen off the…
Recently, I noticed that some of the numbers on the dial of my watch had fallen off. Since the watch was less than 5 years old, I decided to reach out to Citizen to inquire about a possible repair covered under their warranty. Even though I registered the guarantee at the time of the purchase, they wouldn't consider anything unless I could produce the original receipt which I couldn't find and probably would have faded after 4 years anyway.I expect they would have found an excuse to say it wasn't covered by the guarantee anyway even if I had found the receipt given the tone of their emails!
Bought a Citizen watch in Jan 2015 for…
I purchased a Citizen watch in January 2015 for £120 with the expectation that it would be a long-lasting investment. The warranty provided was for a generous 5 years, giving me peace of mind about the durability of the watch. A few months after the guarantee expired the watch started to malfunction. Are they programmed to fail just after the guarantee expires?!! Won't buy another!!
Useless
I recently sent my three-year-old Citizen watch in for repair under warranty. Unfortunately, when it was returned to me, it was still not working. I was very disappointed with the service I received from Citizen, as they did not provide any indication of what had been done to fix the watch.
I BOUGHT A CITIZEN WATCH MODEL NUMBER:E650-S10387857L
I recently purchased a Citizen watch, model number E650-S10387857L, but I have been experiencing issues with it losing time and the day of the week. After sending the watch to the Citizen UK Service Centre in Wokingham three times and having it reset each time, the same problem has occurred again. Today, on 05/03/2019, I spoke with the manager, Sophie, who suggested that I reset the watch myself. SHE EXPECTS ME TO KEEP ON RESETTING THE FAULTY websitelinkblocked SHE DOES NOT WANT TO REPLACE THE FAULTY websitelinkblocked BY THE WAY, SHE CUT ME OFF THE PHONE websitelinkblocked IS A DISGRACE THAT THE MANAGER SOPHIE IS CAPABLE OF DOING SUCH OUTRAGEOUS ACT.I AM THEREFORE WARNING EVERY ONE, THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING A CITIZEN websitelinkblocked BECAUSE YOU MIGHT END UP IN A BAD SITUATION LIKE ME.I HAVE ALSO WARNED HER THAT I AM CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST CITIZEN UK AND I WILL HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LEGAL COSTS AND ALL OTHER COSTS ARISING OUT OF SUCH ACTION.
